Domestic: Destination Daman (West India)
Make Daman your getaway this time you plan a holiday with your entire family. The place has an air of serenity which relaxes every mind. Tour across the town with your family and explore the many wonders the place has kept well preserved. Visit the many impressive forts and stunning cathedrals that keep alive the Portugal influence the town once had. Nature too has provided much to Daman. Kids would simply love the boat rides across the lovely lakes that the town has. The banks have much fun activities too. Devka Beach also forms a good spot to spend a day.
Things to See
Church of Bom Jesus: One of the most impressive structures in Daman, the Church of Bom Jesus is a 17th century church built by the Portuguese. The church has ornately decorated interiors and intricate rosewood carvings. It houses six finely carved statues of saints.
